BEACHES, VILLAGES AND FLAVORS OF THE MARCHE

 
GROTTAMMARE - DAY 1
Free afternoon devoted to complete rest by the sea.
In the evening, arrival at the hotel in Grottammare, dinner and overnight stay

SUN, SEA, OFFIDA AND ITS WINES - DAY 2
Morning dedicated to the sea and the sun, then we will reach the nearby village of Offida for lunch / tasting at the Ciù Ciù winery, located inside the sixteenth- century Palazzo Mercolini Tinelli.
Offida is the homeland of the vine, so lunch will be accompanied by the wines that have made this land famous: Rosso Piceno Superior, Passerina and Pecorino. 
In the afternoon we will go to the discovery of the glimpses and architectural jewels of the historic center of Offida:
from the touch of Liberty style in the Serpente Aureo Course to the medieval and Renaissance atmosphere of Piazza del Popolo.
Not to be missed a visit to Santa Maria della Rocca, a Romanesque-Gothic masterpiece that will leave you speechless for the beauty of its crypt and the elegance of the upper church.
Return to the hotel in Grottammare, dinner and overnight stay.

TORRE DI PALME AND CAMPOFILONE MACCHERONCINI - DAY 3
After breakfast, you will reach the nearby small Medievan town of Torre di Palme.
In the morning we will walk through the protected area called Bosco del Cugnolo to discover the essences of a still intact patch of Mediterranean scrub.
Then we will admire the many architectural jewels and the charming glimpses of the village, splendid urban agglomeration included in the circuit called “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”. Free lunch.
In the afternoon, transfer to Campofilone, birthplace of the famous “maccheroncino”, for a visit to a factory and a workshop session in which you will learn the secrets of this fantastic, super
traditional thin dry egg pasta.
Return to the hotel in Grottammare, dinner and overnight stay.

ASCOLI PICENO AND ITS FRIED OLIVES - DAY 4
After breakfast we will reach Ascoli Piceno, birthplace of the “olive all’ascolana” (meat-staffed fried olives).
The “white city of a hundred towers” is rich in architectural treasures including sqares paved with travertine marble, Romanesque churches and noble palaces.
Guided tour of the historic center, the splendid squares Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Arringo, the church of Santa Maria della Carità also known as the “Scopa” (the broom) - a wonderful example of Baroque - the Malatesta fortress with its museum that houses the Treasure of the Lombards and of the Archaeological Museum. Free lunch.
To end the day, you cannot miss the street food-style taste of the famous fried olives “all’ascolana”.
Return to the hotel in Grottammare, dinner and overnight stay.

SUN, SEASIDE AND GROTTAMMARE - DAY 5
A day to relax on the sand of the beaches of the Riviera of the Palms . You will spend the morning diving and sunbathing. Free lunch.
In the afternoon visit of Grottammare:
we will start from the early 1900s atmospheres of its characteristic Art Nouveau villas along the seafront to conclude our tour with the splendid views of the medieval historic bourg.
