Between the Apennine chain and the Adriatic coast, the Marche Region is crossed by many watercourses, giving rise to waterfalls and rapids, marking the territory with impressive gorges such as those of Furlo, Burano, Rossa and Frasassi, Pioraco, Fiastrone, Infernaccio, just to name a few. Pure and clear water, or even muddy, boiling water, rich in precious mineral substances, is the real protagonist and gives life to a thermal system spread throughout the territory.
