SELF-DRIVE TOUR "FASCINATING PLACES OF CONERO RIVIERA AND «L’INFINITO» LANDSCAPES "
Self-drive tour of the Marche - central Marche itinerary - 7 days / 6 nights
1st day: Arrival in Senigallia and meeting with the guide to visit the historic center with the symbolic monument of the Rocca Roveresca. Overnight in a confortable farm house.
2nd day: Breakfast. Meeting with the guide and visit of the ancient city of Corinaldo with its mighty walls. Afternoon dedicated to a free visit to Ostra and Morro d’Alba, characteristic villages rich in typical products including Lacrima wine, Verdicchio, oil and honey.
At 6 pm appointment for a tasting of local wines in a renowned winery in the area. Return to the farmhouse and overnight stay
3rd day: Breakfast. Guided tour of Fabriano, home of Gentile da Fabriano and of the paper tradition, followed by a visit to the amazing Frasassi Caves.
In the afternoon you can freely admire the small medieval center of San Vittore Terme which rises around the Romanesque Abbey of San Vittore alle Chiuse and the Paleontological Speleo Archaeological Museum.
Finally, stroll through the streets of the medieval village of Serra San Quirico, to discover the Torre del Cassero, the "Copertelle", the wonderful Church of Santa Lucia in Baroque and Rococo style with its precious paintings. Return to the farmhouse and overnight stay.
4th day: Breakfast. Guided tour of Jesi. Typical lunch in a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, moving through the hills of the land of the Castles, you will see the village of Offagna dominated by its majestic medieval fortress which stands on a tuff cliff. Return to the farmhouse and overnight stay.
5th day: Breakfast. Free morning to explore the paths of the Conero natural park and its characteristic villages overlooking the sea such as Sirolo, Numana and Portonovo.
In the afternoon, meeting with the guide to visit the elegant town of Osimo. Return to the farmhouse and overnight stay.
6th day: Breakfast. Meeting with the guide for a visit to Recanati, the city of Infinity, home of the poet Giacomo Leopardi and the famous tenor Beniamino Gigli. Free afternoon for visits to the Sanctuary of Loreto and to Castelfidardo, city of music and accordion with Museo Internazionale della Fisarmocnica.
Return to the farmhouse and overnight stay.
7th day: Breakfast. Free morning for a free visit of Ancona, the regional capital. Return to the places of origin.
Included: overnight stay in a country house with breakfast, 6 half days of guided tour, visit and entrance to the Frasassi Caves, 1 visit to the cellar
with tasting, 1 typical lunch, insurance.
