Winter provides an interesting tourist offer ! The Mount Catria, at 1400 m. a.s.l., offers ideal conditions for families and winter sports enthusiasts of all ages, including children; it is an ideal destination not only for downhill skiing but also for snowshoeing and skiing with skins. Here is also the only children theme playground to 1400 m. with a dedicated treadmill: Kinderland, a delimited area served by a treadmill to slide with bob. The area is completely fenced and with safety measures, so as to allow children to have fun without danger. Near the ticket counter there is a rental with skis, snowboards, boots and snowshoes.
The mountain shelter Bar and Restaurant is located at 1400 m. a.s.l., in a strategic location close to the arrival of the cable car. In Winter here is offered skiers the chance of a self service lunch with typical Marche cuisine, or of a hot chocolate in front of the large fireplace... In summer, however, lunch is served at the tables. The shelter is also a starting point for a network of hiking trails as well as a destination for bikers and mountain bikers.
