1400 meters above sea level, within the area of Mount Catria, this excursion lodge offers its hospitality and full assistance to those who love being close to nature in open spaces. Inside its warm wooden walls, it cuddles its guests with typical dishes of the regional cuisine and with cups of tea or hot chocolate in front of its great hearth in the coldest winter days. The only excursion lodge in the area, it is equipped with 7 wide bedrooms, 120 sitting places, two external solariums, a bar-restaurant with waiters assistance inside, and a very good self-service buffet outside.

It is the starting point of a network of tracks of excursions, and the meeting point of bikers and lovers of mountain bike.

Its position is strategic, being close to the station of a cableway capable of carrying up to 400 passengers per hour and reaching in just 20 minutes to the slopes of Mount Acuto, where a 6 kilometers long off-piste skiing track begins (pressed in certain snow conditions) and other nice tracks in the thick of beechwood wait for lovers of winter sports. The area is fit both for beginners and experts.

Walking wearing snow-shoes along sentries in the middle of beechwood, as well as an excursion with Nordic Walking guides, will make you feel reborn.

There are many possibilities to have fun: trekking, horse riding, mountain biking… two DH and FR tracks are ideal for lovers of extreme sports. In wintertime a ski area about 9 km long can be used, served by a chairlift and by two tapis roulants.

Since 2015, the Kinderland Adventure Park is operative. It is a thematic amusement park unique of its kind, with games on trees and a brand new kinderland for the youngest, with a delimited area where playing is possible all year round.
