Ussita is one of the few ski resorts in central Italy, in the Sibillini National Park, with a ice palace which is located in a valley on the road to Frontignano, it’s set in a very scenic location below the Bove mountain. It’s covered and it possesses an Olympic swimming pool (30×60) with artificial lights and audio broadcasts. This complex offers a wide range of services including skate rental, refreshment areas, changing rooms and showers, the grandstand can seat up to 700 people. Three different sports can be practised: figure skating, ice hockey and curling.
Its main feature is the ice made of pure water.It's open at Easter and in summer.Due to the earthquake occurred in 2016, the Ice Palace is temporarily closed.
