Not to be missed in Morrovalle is the famous Living Nativity with more than 350 people dressed in costumes. In the paths and squares of Morrovalle the scenes of the Nativity and of the everyday life of the time are arranged: shoemakers, carpenters, blacksmiths, weavers, laundresses, etc.
Visitors are offered tastings of mulled wine, chestnuts, garlic bread and cheese.
Besides, in Morrovalle worth mentioning is the International Museum of the Nativity housed in the basement of the former eighteenth century Convent of the Augustinian Fathers. Here there are about 500 cribs of all shapes and sizes, built with many different techniques and using different materials.
OPENING TIME: Dates: on 12/16, 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. a living nativity scene interpreted by children; on 12/26 and 12/30, a traditional nativity scene, 3.30 to 8.00 p.m.
