Founded in 1974 by the Chamber of Commerce of Ancona, Assonautica organizes every year two courses to take boat licence, among other activities, beginners’ sail cruising courses. They take place in spring and autumn; the program includes 4 theoretical lessons at Marina Dorica ( near the harbour) and 8 lessons at sea with boats measuring from 8 to 12 metres. You need to become a member of the club to participate.
