Bolognola is one of the smallest and highest towns of medieval origin in the Marche region (1,070 m). It offers visitors healthy air and unspoiled nature. Under the highest peak in its territory, the Mountain Rotondo, it opens the inaccessible gorge of Acquasanta, with the same name and beautiful natural waterfall. From the hamlet Pintura you can enjoy a beautiful view. It is an important destination for winter sports and well equipped with its many ski lifts, different slopes that vary in length and difficulty, sports and local activities and excursions.
Ski areas:
- The total number is : 8 ski slopes of varying difficulty, for a total of 6.5 km of slopes; 3 blue, 3 red and 2 black slopes. The lower elevation of the slopes is 1,050 mt, the maximum 1,590 mt; Ski field school for children, ski lift, a dedicated area to children's bobsleighs.
- Ski and snowboard rental service;
- Ski slopes (FISI -Italian Winter Sports Federation- homologated) for giant, super G and slalom races.
The ski facilities in this resort will open in the year 2016- 2017.
