The Candelara castle, whose ramparts are still visible and was originally built in the XI century, is a jewel of the military architecture of the XV century. In this pleasant panoramic place, visitors breathe vintage atmospheres. Very suggestive is the recently restored Sala del Capitano (Captain’s Hall), fit to host civil weddings. It is a hall with a cotto tile floor, a ceiling with in view beams, and plaster walls. Also remarkable is the Sala dell’Orologio (Clock Hall) which hosts a XVIII century clock mechanism, one of the few still working, which always charms visitors.
