Near the River Nera source is
Castel Sant'Angelo sul Nera. This destination, excellent starting point for excursions in the Sibillini National Park, is famous for relaxing summer walks, for its cultural offer of churches and Romanesque monuments, and also for its ski slopes and ski lifts (
Monte Prata, 1,850 m a.s.l.).
Ski facilities:

Due to the earthquakes occurred in 2016 the ski resort will be closed.
