The Meta 1 is a pretty varied and dry gorge. In the first part, purely vertical, it is rather narrow and cramped, with overwhelming jumps to slide; then it follows a 42 m. jump.There is a further jump of 48 m: from here the route tends to slope, enclosed between high walls of solid limestone. You continue and the gorge opens to the Infernaccio del Tenna. The track ends here with some jumps and a final part on a channel full of debris and thick with nettles.  You should avoid the descent in the spring, because heavy snow deposits may influence the itinerary.

Due to the earthquake occurred in 2016 this area can't be crossed.
