Cagli – Procession of the Dead Christ

The rievocation  of “The Dead Christ” in Cagli, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, reaches its climax during the impressive evening procession of the country’s Brotherhoods. More than four hundred “Brothers”, dressed in tunics, hooded and barefoot, walk through the village streets just lighted by torches and surrounded by silence and drum music. For sure, a performance of great emotional impact!
