A good number of cycling paths is at the disposal of the inhabitants and tourists of San Benedetto del Tronto.

Beside the long cycling path by the sea between San Benedetto del Tronto, Grottammare and Cupra Marittima, there are also other cycling paths, some of which are new:

-          From the Ponterotto area a cycling path goes along the riverbed of the waterstream Albula up to the State Road (first tract) and then along via Gino Moretti up to the crossing with Via Toscana ( second tract) where the path continues, using a part of the wide pavement up to the town centre;

-          In the Ragnola area, in the Mattei and Rubicone roads, a new cycling route from the roundabout in Mattei road to the cycling path already existing which runs parallel to the railway line.

-          A cycling path for pedestrians and cyclists in the Sentina Nature Reserve. A new route is being built (year 2016) for cyclists, pedestrians and disable people. It leaves from the underpass San Giovanni, where a parking area will be made, and it will flank the paved road towards the east for about 350 metres, so that the area of major interest can be reached.

-          The municipality is working (2016) on a new project: a cycling path in Porto d’Ascoli in Pasubio, Airone and Cacciatore roads.
