Fermignano - Infiorata of Fermignano

In June, The Infiorata (Flower Festival), floral original compositions or reproductions of paintings made exclusively with petals of various species of flowers, transforms the historic centre of Fermignano in a multicolored carpet made of broom flowers, daisies, acacias, rose petals and herbs. Early in the afternoon, the infioratori start with the preparation of the square: laying of the first decorations, peeling and trimming of flowers, painting of seeds and other material, painting and fixing of sheets. The early hours of the day the entire Infioratori group of Fermignano starts the creation of the work in preparation for the Mass and the procession of Corpus Christi.
During the floral display access to the medieval tower is allowed to achieve spectacular photographs.
