Acquasanta Terme - Fosso di Pito - Rio Faete

 
The limestones of  Acquasanta Terme, in the valley of the Tronto river, house the caves and the water that supplies the famous thermal baths. They also include some ravines: one of the best known is the one crossed by the Rio Faete, a tributary of the Garrafo river, which is located near the village of Pito. The Pit is characterized by a couple of very short and spectacular gorges, between the Monti della Laga.
